You do not need a Tax stamp for a suppressor on a airgun. As long as you only use it on a airgun you are legal.
All of our moderators are made for airguns only and marked as such. They are made with quality materials, but they are not made to withstand the intense heat and pressure present when a firearm is, well, fired. We do not use threading that is commonly used in the firearms industry and do not make adapters to connect firearm silencers to airguns or the other way around. It would not be safe to connect one of our moderators to a firearm.  Airguns are not considered as a firearm and as long as you only use the airgun suppressor on an airgun you have no issues. If you get caught using it on a firearm just like if you put a coke bottle or oil filter on a real firearm and do not have the proper paperwork you can get in trouble.

The only state I know of that views an airgun as a firearm is NJ. In that state you have to get license to purchase a firearm and we cannot ship there.

Are Silenced airguns legal?
Not only do the federal firearms laws NOT apply to airguns, they CANNOT be applied by law! ... IF you have an airgun silencer, and IF it can be removed and installed on a firearm, and IF it then quiets that firearm - that silencer meets the legal definition and is subject to the law.
